Gary V and the Itchyworms Bag Awit Awards - Friday, June 17, 2006

Congratulations to Mr. Gary Valenciano for winning his 9th Best Performance by a Male Recording Artist Award at the 19th Awit Awards last June 16 held at the Casino Filipino Ampitheater in Parañaque. Gary was nominated for three songs, and won for "Break Me", a song he wrote for his close personal friend, the late record producer Ms. Bella Tan of Universal Records.

The Itchyworms went home with the Best World/Alternative Music Award for "Akin Ka Na Lang". Kudos to Kerwin and his gang: Jugs, Jazz, Chino and Mr. Yu!

The Awit Awards are given out by the Philippine Association of the Record Industry (PARI).

Gary V Launches Relevance - Thursday, May 25, 2006

Last night, Gary Valenciano premiered his new album "Relevance" to a sell-out crowd at Cinema 4 of SM Megamall. "Relevance", released under Universal Records is Gary V's first album of all new material in almost 10 years. He performed around 8 choice cuts from the album to a very appreciative crowd that included friends and family and esteemed members of the press. Watch out for his upcoming mall and bar tours in support of "Relevance".

Top Suzara Press Launch - Monday, March 27, 2006

Top Suzara had a very successful press launch as throngs of press people from the major networks, to music channels, to radio and magazine showed up at the Mugen Bar & Restaurant at the Pasig Metrowalk. In between one on one sit downs on and off cam, Top welcomed each member of the press with gusto. A short set followed as Top and his very talented bandmates rocked the house with songs from his "Carry On" solo debut album. 99.5RT DJ Neil facilitated another Q&A portion in-between sets before Top proceeded to end the evening with his carrier single, "Sabihin Mo Na".

Tolits TV Launch - Monday, March 27, 2006

On the day of his 8 th birthday, BJ "Tolits" Forbes' dance hits album was launched on Eat Bulaga where he happens to be a mainstay. BJ did a dance number to the tune of "Hey Oh Cappuccino", the carrier single from his album. He was ably supported by Kids At Work who tossed, spun and twirled BJ around as part of the dance routine. BJ didn't seem to mind as he seemed to be enjoying every moment of it. After the dance, he was greeted by the entire cast of Eat Bulaga that all but made for a happier birthday celebration.
